Contour provided planning advice for Geelong Convention and Exhibition Centre in support of a project bid and managed the approval process on behalf of Plenary and Development Victoria.

Funded by the Geelong City Deal, the GCEC will feature a 1,000-seat venue, two large exhibition spaces, meeting rooms, conference facilities and flexible event spaces, a new 200-room Crowne Plaza hotel, an 18,000m2 mixed use development, new retail spaces, hospitality offerings, and a variety of public realm upgrades, including a large public plaza which will become a feature of the Geelong waterfront.
