Sophie Jordan has been practicing as a qualified urban planner for over 25 years, working in both the local government sector and private practice before joining Contour in 2022.
Sophie has particular expertise in special use residential projects, mixed use developments and has worked extensively in the aged care and retirement sector, as well as several social housing and student accommodation developments across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Her breadth of experience has made her a sought after expert witness at VCAT providing independent expert evidence and mediating outcomes for a range of development projects. Sophie has also provided expert planning evidence regularly before the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation, Heritage Victoria and Planning Panels Victoria.
